Talk on smart waste disposal

Students from 75 Patna schools attended a workshop on disposal of e-waste and its impact on the environment at IMA Hall here on Saturday.

Patna: Students from 75 Patna schools attended a workshop on disposal of e-waste and its impact on the environment at IMA Hall here on Saturday.

Karo Sambhav organised the "best practice sharing workshop".

Various schools in the city on Saturday shared the environmental practices they follow. A set of six drills was conducted among the participants to evaluate and consider environmental impact of the existing lifestyles of the stakeholders - students, peers, parents, relatives and communities.

Based on the evaluations, the students performed different activities like poster-making, community outreach campaigns to create awareness, apart from PowerPoint presentations.

Delhi Public School, Patna, organised a skit; Sri Ram Centennial School, Patna, and Sarswati Sishu Vidyalaya prepared posters. The e-waste campaign will end with celebration of the efforts and achievements of various schools, teachers, and students. They will be felicitated next month.
