Patna: Under the project of Bihar power sector development programme, strengthening of power will be done at Bettiah, Motihari, Begusarai, Ara, Buxar, Samstipur and Biharsharif. The project is being run by Asian Development Bank. n this direction a loan agreement was signed between ADB and the state government under which ADB will provide Rs 708 crore for strengthening of power in these districts. Under the loan agreement, ADB will provide 86 per cent of the share while the state government will share 14 per cent. Patna: A large number of students staged a dharna on Wednesday at JP Golambar against police atrocities upon students who had gone to stage a protest against CBSE officials after there were reports of alleged anomalies in marking of the papers. On Tuesday, several students and guardians ransacked the Patna region office of the CBSE. The dharna was led by Bihar Players Association president Mritunjay Tiwari.
