Patna, May 31: The state government today transferred nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including one who retired today.

Anshuli Arya, the managing director of Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority, has been transferred to the Bihar State Women Development Corporation in the same capacity. She has been given the additional charge of secretary of Bihar Child Rights Protection Commission.

Arya would replace Vijaylakshmi N., who has been asked to join as the secretary of the agriculture department.

Additional secretary of agriculture department Rajesh Kumar has been transferred to the animal husbandry department. He would hold the post of the director there.

C.K. Anil, a 1991 batch IAS officer waiting for posting, has been posted as advisor in Bihar State Planning Board.

Palka Sahni, who was on leave, has been posted as the managing director of Beltron.

Besides, Gopalganj district magistrate Pankaj Kumar Pal has been asked to join the agriculture department in the capacity of joint secretary. The special secretary of the agriculture department, Pankaj Kumar, would replace Pal.

Inspector-general (prisons) Ramesh Lal, who was supposed to retire today, was asked to work in the general administration department. Anand Kishore was named his replacement.

An Indian Police Service officer Dinesh Singh Bisht was also transferred. He has been made director of Integrated Child Development Scheme. Bisht was an advisor in the State Planning Board.

Bisht would also hold the additional charges of officer on special duty of “Hunar” scheme of the human resource development department and chief executive officer of Bihar open school education and examination board.
