Calcutta: Anthony Wolfe scored a brace as Tollygunge Agragami, playing their first match under new coach Subhas Bhowmick, defeated NBP Rainbow AC 2-1 in a CFL Premier Division A match at the East Bengal ground on Friday.

After Wolfe put Tollygunge ahead midway through the second session, Bazie Armand restored parity. But six minutes before regulation time, Wolfe made it 2-1 to eventually earn full points for his team.

Tollygunge next play Mohun Bagan on September 3. "If we play to our strengths, then I am confident that we will be able to at least snatch a point from Bagan," Wolfe said.

Bhowmick, however, was cautious. "This was my first match. I do not have a clear idea about this team. I will be in better position only after three to four practice sessions," he said.

<>Talking about Wolfe, who played under him at Churchill Brothers a few seasons back, Bhowmick said he is a class player. "In the second half he was fantastic... Did a lot of running. Others will have to complement Wolfe," Bhowmick commented.

Meanwhile, Mohammdan Sporting's Richard Agwu is a doubtful starter versus Peerless SC at the Barasat Stadium on Saturday. "Richard is down with fever. I will take a call on Saturday morning," coach Biswajit Bhattacharya said.
