Four-time Olympic gold medallist Simone Biles wants more than good wishes from USA Gymnastics. The US federation wished Biles a happy 23rd birthday on social media on Saturday. Biles used their tweet as a chance to demand an independent investigation into the Larry Nassar sex abuse scandal. “How about you amaze me and do the right thing ... have an independent investigation,” Biles snapped on Twitter after the federation’s birthday tweet. Former national gymnastics team doctor Nassar was jailed for life for abusing more than 250 athletes.

Aadil Bedi put up a brilliant performance to win his maiden title at the Bengal Open Golf Championship, the last event before the Professional Golf Tour of India shuts down in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Sunday left the Chennai Super Kings training camp here following the suspension of the 13th edition of IPL till April 15 in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. “It has become your home, sir!’ Keep whistling, as #Thala Dhoni bids a short adieu to #AnbuDen,” Chennai Super Kings wrote on its twitter handle along with a short video.
