Calcutta: David Warner and Aaron Finch of Sunrisers Hyderabad, both received an official reprimand for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during their match against Delhi DareDevils on Saturday.
Both Warner and Finch admitted to the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.3) of showing dissent at an Umpire’s decision during a match.
Meanwhile, the IPL technical committee has on Sunday approved replacements of three players for IPL VII.
Dwayne Bravo, Nic Maddinson and Nathan Coulter-Nile have all suffered injuries and were out of this edition.
“Dwayne Bravo (Chennai Super Kings), Nic Maddinson (Royal Challengers Bangalore) and Nathan Coulter-Nile (Delhi Daredevils) have all suffered injuries which mean that they will play no further part in the season,” a media release said.
“In accordance with the IPL Player Regulations, the three franchises may take a replacement player from the list of 798 players who registered for the 2014 IPL Player Auction but were not taken in the auction,” it added.
