Tripoli: Top seed Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria lost to Uzbekistan’s Rustam Kasimdzhanov in the semi-final of the world chess championship.
Kasimdzhanov, who won both tie-break games after the players ended 2-2 in the first four regulation games, will meet Michael Adams of England in the final. Adams had beaten Teimour Radjabov of Azerbaijan.
