Calcutta: Former Brazil star Kaka has hailed Kylian Mbappe for his maturity and says fans of the global game are "blessed" to see the France teenager at the World Cup.
Mbappe, 19, has impressed throughout the showpiece tournament in Russia.
Kaka - who made 92 appearances for Brazil during his career - lauded the Paris Saint-Germain attacker for his performances.
"I think the best thing we can say about him is his speed, and how quickly he can run," Kaka, speaking courtesy of Adidas, told Omnisport.
"Of course he's not just running because he has very good control when he is running. And he is also just 19 years old, but he sometimes seems like he is 35 years old - very mature, controls the game, [makes] good choices. I think he's got a very, very good future and to see a 19-year old player playing and performing like he is performing at this World Cup - we are blessed to see something like that. He is world class."
England legend Gary Lineker also heaped praise on the teen sensation. "He has the potential to emulate Cristiano Ronaldo as football's next big star," Lineker said.
Lineker, who won the Golden Boot at the 1986 World Cup, believes the young Frenchman has everything it takes to become the next superstar.
"He's a future monster of the game," Lineker told L'Equipe. "His future is huge. His performances, for a player so young, was just incredible. His speed, his technique, his charm and his ability to play the right ball at the right time are incredible. He's got incredible maturity and is one of the best young players I've ever seen. He's got everything to become the next Cristiano Ronaldo."
"Look, in fact he reminds me of the Brazilian Ronaldo. He's got the same power, the same explosivity, same speed, same brilliant, and everything's done at an incredible tempo."
Lineker was asked to compare Mbappe with Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen, who both exploded onto the international scene with England at World Cups.
"Both were able to do incredible things, in particular Michael Owen in the quarter-final of the 1998 World Cup against Argentina [when he scored a memorable solo goal], but they were human," the former Barcelona striker commented.
