Calcutta: India's Test wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha is not thinking about the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) at present.

"I am not thinking about the IPL at the moment. My focus is solely on getting fully fit and match ready," Saha said on the sidelines of Shambazar Club's centenary celebration match at the Eden on Tuesday.

Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly, Jhulan Goswami and a few former cricketers were present on the occasion.

Earlier in the day, Saha played for his office team CESC in an All India Electricity Sports Control Board-tournament match where he scored 32. This was the first time he played a game after recovering from hamstring niggle which ruled him out after the first Test against South Africa in Cape Town.

"I felt bad that I had to come back after the first Test. But injuries are part and parcel of the game, and I am happy that the team did well overall on the tour," he said.

Saha underwent rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.

He was bought by IPL 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs five crore at the auction this year. The IPL starts April 7 and Sunrisers take on Rajasthan Royals at home two days later.

"There is still time and I will think about the IPL only when I join the team," Saha said.

In the centenary game, Shambazar's present team played against a team comprising the club's past players and they won the match by seven wickets.

"Our centenary celebrations started on Republic Day. We have also planned a cricket talk show on March 12.

"Four former India cricketers - Arun Lal, Ashok Malhotra, Pranab Roy and Deep Dasgupta - will be speak," informed Shambazar Club secretary and CAB's trustee board chairman Goutam Dasgupta.
