Among girls in the same category, N. Raghavi of Tamil Nadu logged a full 6 points to lead, beating Mary Ann Gomes (4.5) in the sixth round.
The leader among under-11 boys was S. Sai Krishna of Andhra Pradesh (6), while among under-11 girls N. Pragna Patavi of Andhra Pradesh was leading with 5.5 points.
