National High School entered the final of the CAB inter-school under-19 meet on Friday. In the semi-final, they defeated Jadavpur Vidyapith by 159 runs. The final comes off at Eden Gardens on Monday.
BRIEF SCORES: National High School 274/7 in 31 ovs (Abhra Guha Thakurta 80, Soumya Ghosh 74, Tomojit Ghosh 63; Rajib Chowhdury 3/36, Sayan Ghosh 3/50). Jadavpur Vidyapith 115 in 24.2 ovs (Sayan Ghosh 23; Kirti Sarkar 3/16, Sourajit Sarkar 2/8). National HS won by 159 runs.
Hooghly Mohsin College emerged champions in the inter-government college football meet. In the final, they beat Chandernagar 3-1 via the tiebreaker.
