Horse rider of Bhutan and India attempt world record in IMA

Indian Military Academy the pre commissioning training academy for gentlemen cadets held their multi display activity from 6th to 10th December 2021 for the 149 regular commissioning course.

In the display, horse riding team of Indian Military Academy attempted to create a new world record with the musical ride display and trick riding. The gentlemen cadets who participated in the world record (book of records) are the IMA riding team and the cadets from ACC wing under them. Apart from all the Indian gentlemen cadets participating in the book of records is a foreign gentlemen cadet Jigme Pelden Dorji from the Kingdom of Bhutan who played a key role in the horse trick riding for the multi activity display at IMA and was a major attraction to the crowd. He was an awardee in National Defense Academy as the best cadet rider of the passing out course, currently a merit card holder in the team and accolades thus uplifting his country in equestrian field in India says the authority. He was covered in various news articles about the achievements in India as well Bhutan. Concerning his contributions are applauded all over Indian Military Academy at present as interviewed with the officialdom. It was unfortunate for the display that had to be paused from 8th to 10th due to the untimely demise of first Chief of Defense staff of India, Gen Bipin Rawat (PVSM,UYSM,AVSM,VSM,YSM,SM) on 8th December 2021, but the attempt on 6th and 7th as finals were gratifying and waiting for the result says the officials of IMA.

Only foreign rider GC Jigme Pelden Dorji and best rider IMA Lt. Satyendra Chaudhry award recipient.
