Jamshedpur suffered a blow when the disciplinary committee of the All India Football Federation served a two-match suspension to Mohammad Mobashir Rahman and fined him Rs 1.5 lakh. He was found guilty of “violent conduct” during the match against Hyderabad FC. Mobashir, who has already served an automatic one-match ban in the previous game against Odisha FC, will miss Monday’s clash.

Jamshedpur have 40 points from 19 games while third-placed ATK Mohun Bagan have 37. Jamshedpur are on a six-match winning streak.

ATK Mohun Bagan have not lost in their last 15 games and if they avoid defeat on Monday, they would become the first team to go unbeaten in 16 games in ISL.

Jamshedpur are on the verge of a record. They have accumulated 40 points this season, the joint highest a team has gained after the league stages of the ISL — Bengaluru in 2017-18, ATK Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City FC in 2020-21. A win or a draw on Monday would see them set a mark..

The last time the two sides met, Jamshedpur edged past ATK Mohun Bagan 2-1.
