Calcutta: East Bengal unveiled their third foreigner, South Korean Do Dong Hyun, on Friday. Nigerians Ranty Martins and Bello Rassaq are the other two.

The 21-year-old, an attacking midfielder, represented NorthEast United FC in the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League (ISL) last year.

"I don't know much about the I-League... But I'm really excited to represent East Bengal. I believe I will be able to play good football and help the team finish at the top," Dong Hyun said during an interaction with the media.

Asked if he has set a personal target for himself, he said: "I want to take the club to the top and so I want to score a lot of goals."

However, fact is that the task wouldn't be very easy for the Korean. His last competitive match was way back in December last year. Though he insisted that he practised in Seoul in the last six months, at the same time he accepted that he would need some time to attain match-level fitness.

With his immediate test being the CFL matches, which will mostly be played on a heavy turf because of the monsoon, Dong Hyun has a tricky job on hand.

Dong Hyun doesn't know too much about Mohun Bagan, but knows that the local Derby witnesses packed stadiums. He is also a Lionel Messi fan and wants to be as successful as his country-mate Park Ji-sung.
