Calcutta: With the training programme of horses suffering owing to the syces’ stir, the RCTC stewards have postponed the city races scheduled for Wednesday to Friday. The Syces, who had ceased work on Thursday demanding payment of Dearness Allowance, resumed duty on Saturday. Restricted inter-state betting on Mysore races will now be conducted after the conclusion of the last race in the city, according to an RCTC notification.
