New Delhi: The national camp for Indian football team’s tour of Portugal will now be held in Delhi, according to AIFF secretary Alberto Colaco. The camp is likely to start on June 23 or 24.

The camp, initially scheduled to be held at Goa, has been shifted out because of rainy season in the western state. National coach Bob Houghton, who is currently holidaying in Maldives, will join the camp in the capital next week.

Houghton hasn’t given his list of players for the camp yet but he is unlikely to induct any new face other than those who were already in the Goa camp before the SAFF Cup. The Indian team is supposed to leave for Portugal in the first week of July.

The under-16 team will go to the US for an exposure trip around the same time. The under-19 team will play a meet in Malaysia in August.
