Calcutta: Calamint may upstage Lockers Park in Wednesday’s main event, the 1,400m Hovercraft Cup for horses in Class II. The mare from Vijay Singh’s yard was an impressive winner in her last start over an identical trip. Although, Lockers Park relishes the monsoon track and also enjoys a slight weights advantage over the Gold Discovery-Tamarisca daughter, the six-year-old may find an improving mare hard to contain.
Vijay’s Thrilling Proposal is the other one who may win the Best Of All Cup. Well-summered in Bangalore, the Rebounding Thrill-Modest Proposal three-year-old had troubled best of his age last winter.
