Bagan falter against BFC

Bangalore: A goal each from Sunil Chetri and Sandesh Jhingan helped Bengaluru FC beat Mohun Bagan 2-1 in their AFC Cup match at Sree Kanteerava Stadium here on Tuesday.

Mohun Bagan took the lead as Katsumi Yusa scored off a penalty in the 37th minute, but the home side pumped in twice in the second half to emerge winners in the first leg of the home and away tie.

Bengaluru FC found their equaliser in 52nd minute as Jhingan, off a clearance from Cameron Watson's corner, shot the ball home.
