Calcutta: They had no love for football, until one day they watched Oliver Kahn and Bayern Munich in a friendly tie. Fourteen-year-old Lucas Hille and brother Cedric came all the way from Delhi only to catch a close glimpse of their hero and seek some valuable advice.

“I never liked football… But one day I gave it a try after watching Kahn on TV,” Lucas recollected.

“I enjoyed playing and from then on kept on playing… And now I want to be a footballer,” he add- ed.

Both the German brothers got a chance to meet their favourite star and participate in the Adidas Bayern Munich Football Coaching Clinic at the CCFC on Mon-day.

Accompanied by their mother Rosemarie, who happens to be the third secretary of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Delhi, both the brothers were excited after their meeting with Kahn.

While Lucas is a medio, the 11-year-old Cedric is a goalkeeper.

“It was a nice experience playing with Kahn… He showed us some tricks and that was great,” Cedric said.

“It will surely help us a lot…” he added.

“We would surely help them achieve their dream… I would like to see them playing for their country,” Rosemarie said.
