Two Mahindra United footballers ? K. Kulothungan and Nasim Akhtar ? have sought inter-state transfers in favour of East Bengal club. Both the transfer letters reached the IFA office on Saturday.

Club snooker

YMCA, Wellington, routed SAI B 3-0 in the quarter finals of the inter-club snooker championship at the SAI-BSFI billiards hall on Saturday.

Karate

Calcutta Karate Club Gojukai Karate-Do West Bengal was adjudged the best disciplined team of the 11th High School International Invitational karate-do tournament that concluded last Monday. Tathagata Paul and Dipak Kumar Shaw won silver medals while Rahul Saha, Catherine Murmu, B.B. Mukherjee won the bronze medals. Mahua B. Majumdar won a bronze and silver.
