Samsung and OLED TV? Yes, it has happened as the company has launched its OLED TV range with Neural Quantum Processor 4K in India. These are some of the best premium sets you can buy at the moment and it comes from a company that has been the global number-one TV brand for 17 consecutive years now.

The OLED TV range consists of two series S95C and S90C, coming in three sizes — 77-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch. There are two things you need to remember while buying these TVs — they offer some of the highest brightness you will see on TVs and there is an increase in power efficiency of up to 25 per cent. Of course, peak brightness isn’t everything when it comes to picture quality but brighter screens often produce better HDR with more impact. And the TVs should be able to sustain brightness over a large portion of the screen, making it perfect for use in bright rooms, where dimmer OLED models can suffer from excessive reflections.

The new OLED TVs come with Neural Quantum Processor 4K that delivers a lot of detail and the upscaling is stunning. Everything displayed on the screen is transformed to a sharp 4K resolution, irrespective of the original resolution. This processor utilises AI-based algorithms to analyse content on a scene-by-scene basis, and HDR OLED+ optimises each frame so that you can enjoy plenty of details.

“We are pushing the boundaries of innovation with our new range of OLED TVs. We have made OLED TVs better by combining Neural Quantum Processor 4K with OLED panels to deliver outstanding picture quality. The launch of new OLED TVs will enable us to further strengthen our leadership in the premium TV market,” said Mohandeep Singh, senior vice-president, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India.

For gamers, Samsung OLED TVs are equipped with the Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro for constantly creating crisp visuals and dazzling fast speeds for high-velocity gaming. It also virtually omits input lags and motion blur, delivering up to 144Hz refresh rate. Priced upwards of Rs 169,990, the new range will be available at leading retail stores across India and online on Samsung.com.
