My dearest Mama,

Words will never begin to express what you mean to me. The reason behind my existence and my success and in short, my life - I owe everything to you Mama. This one day reminds me of the endless things which you do for me. Your love has taught me how to love others. You are there to remind me of my worth as a human being. For me, every year is full of 365 Mother's Days.

At times, I become satisfied with my achievements, but you don't, because you have always wanted me to see one step ahead of my dreams. As I get older, I realise more and more how much you have sacrificed and done for me and continue to do everyday. I am so proud to be your daughter.

On this special day, I thank you for waiting for hours outside my dance class, for cooking for us after returning from a long day of seven plus working hours, for answering my repeated annoying calls in the middle of your meetings, for accompanying me to the maximum during my shooting hours, for motivating me whenever I felt down, for helping me keep my feet grounded at the time of my success, for being patient when I was impatient, for fulfilling my never-ending demands of chocolates and ice cream!

You were very strict with my studies during my school and engineering days; now, I realise that your strictness has shaped me and brought a discipline in my life that helps me immensely during hectic schedules. More than a mother, I have seen a friend in you which I wish every child should get.

Every mother feels that their children are still in UKG and worry for them and shower love and care incessantly. But Mama, I am grown up now and you have taught me to be matured in every sphere. Thanks for making me a confident lady from an impatient little girl and now I am ready to take the challenges of the world with your principles and values always set in my heart for reference.

I salute you for your non-transferable, no pay, no day-off job with a no-resignation option as a mother of this naughty girl.
