The city on Friday received 17.8mm of rainfall. The incessant rain since morning left several low-lying areas in the city and on its outskirts waterlogged. Garbage-choked drains, lack of effort to remove silt and blocked water passage points along roads led to the waterlogging. The Telegraph takes a look at the city’s stretches filled with rainwater.
