Bhubaneswar, March 3: As the downpour reduced to a drizzle, the stars came out shining.

Sabyasachi Mishra and Archita Sahu, who patiently waited for the rain to recede, came all guns blazing to promote their upcoming film Smile Please. The romantic comedy had its music release on the terrace of a mall at Saheed Nagar here last evening.

Sabyasachi plays Mahesh, a photographer, in the film while Archita portrays the role of a journalist named Sneha. After the success of their last outing together in form of Mun Eka Tumara, the pair would again be seen romancing each other in this flick directed by S.K. Muralidharan. “We both are very fortunate that we have so many journalist friends around us. We get to see their work closely and it all helped us to get into the skin of the character,” said Sabyasachi.

“My character is also someone whose wishes spread happiness. It is a youth-based film replete with delightful moments,” he said.

“There are no social messages in the film. It is simply a light-heated movie meant to bring smiles on the faces of the viewers,” said Archita.

The duo also danced to the track Baara Baji Gola on the occasion and requested the spectators to watch their film. The film does not have any villain but the story supposedly has many twists and turns that promise to keep the audience glued to their seats.

Smile Please has seven tracks with three out-and-out peppy numbers. While there is a soft and a sad song, two versions of the theme song would also help in the narrative. The shooting of some of the song sequences took place in Hyderabad. Also present on the occasion were veteran actor Mihir Das and the producer of the film, Rabin Nanda. The film hits theatres on March 14 and also stars Puspa Panda, Salil Mitra and Hadu.
