Bhubaneswar, June 13: Plus Two cut-off marks for junior colleges across the state were declared today.
The Berhampur-based Saraswati Junior Vidya Mandir, Neelakanthanagar, has suddenly become one of the most sought-after institutes following its good show in the recently declared annual Plus Two exams.
In the science stream, the cut-off for BJB Junior College is 93.1 per cent followed by Ravenshaw Junior College at93 per cent. The cut-off for Saraswati Junior Vidya Mandir, Neelakanthanagar, is 91.17 per cent, surpassing that of Basic Science College (89.17 per cent) and Kahalikote Junior College, Berhampur's 87.67 per cent.
"Students, as well as their parents, can check the status of their application through SMS, e-mail or they can also call up the helpline number," said officer in charge of admissions Mihir Kumar Das.
The official also said that the students would have to take admissions into the colleges in the first phase between June 16 and June 21.
The second cut-off list will be published on June 25 for which admissions will be conducted between June 27 and June 29. The third cut-off list will be published on July 4 and admissions will take place between July 8 and July 9. Classes will begin from July 14.
