Bhubaneswar, June 28: Petrol rate has gone up by Rs 2.19 in the city including the local taxes following a hike in the rate by Rs 1.82 a litre all over the country.
The petrol rate that was Rs 65.71 a litre will now cost Rs 67.90 in Bhubaneswar, while it will be Rs 67.77 from the earlier rate Rs 65.58 in Cuttack.The new rates have come into effect from midnight today.
On June 15, the petrol rate went up by Rs 2.39 in the twin cities including taxes after a nationwide increase of Rs 2 per litre.
