Paa to visit Patna

Patna, July 20: Junior Bachchan in April, Paa Amitabh Bachchan in August, it could not get better than this. Bollywood stars are raining on the state capital as if to perfectly match the relentless shower over the past two days.

The Bollywood Shahenshah is slated to fly to Patna to watch his upcoming film Aarakshan with chief minister Nitish Kumar.

Breaking this news to The Telegraph, producer- director Prakash Jha said: “Yes, Amitabh Bachchan is coming to Patna to promote Aarakshan. Proper arrangements are being made to host him. I cannot confirm the date but I can say that he will be there in Patna to watch the film in the newly built multiplex.”

According to a close aide of Jha, Bachchan will be in Patna in the first week of August.

“Amitabh Bachchan will come to Patna in the first week of August. Though the film is slated to release on August 12, he showed eagerness to come before the film’s release. He will watch the film with chief minister Nitish Kumar,” he said.

Two days ago, Nitish had visited a new restaurant in the filmmaker’s P&M Mall, where Jha’s representative requested Nitish to attend the special screening of the film.
