Berhampur: Khirod Mallick, managing director of Viswa a voluntary organisation lodged in Berhampur Circle Jail on Tuesday was produced by the crime branch before the special designated court of the additional district judge, Surya Prakash Kar. He will be in Berhampur Circle Jail till November 11. Bhubaneswar: Polls will be held in 9,733 primary co-operative bodies on January 18 and 25 next year. The state government has been deferring the polls over the last 18 months. Polls were deferred last month again for six months through an ordinance. Polls to co-operative societies were last held in 2007.
