Bhubaneswar: Seventeen persons were killed and 12 others seriously injured when a Raipur-bound bus fell into a ditch and rammed into a tree at Pithoda, nearly 100km from Paikamal in Bargarh district on Monday night. The accident happened due to rash driving, said police. Cuttack: A 35-year-old man lodged a police complaint against SCB Medical College and Hospital, alleging that suspended particles were found inside an injection meant to be administered to him. Sushant Rout of Khannagar said his wife spotted the particles. SCB superintendent Shyama Kanungo said an inquiry has been ordered and the injection was discarded after the irregularities came to her notice.
