Bhubaneswar: US national William M. Hurtubise, who is facing criminal trial in a Bhubaneswar court for illegal possession of bullets, has moved Orissa High Court for quashing of the FIR, the charges and the criminal proceedings arising out of it. Police had arrested him on September 18, 2013, after eight 0.22mm bullets were found in his possession during a security check at Biju Patnaik Airport. The bench of justice Subash Chandra Parija reserved judgment for final hearing. Bhubaneswar: Police conducted a flag march at Rental Colony here after tension erupted at Nayapalli as supporters of an Independent candidate, who won the civic polls from ward No. 15, blocked roads demanding arrest of a BJD candidate who allegedly assaulted them after losing the election.
