Jajpur: Two unidentified assailants shot at a 30-year-old man at Padmanavpur on the Chandikhole-Paradip express highway on Monday evening. The victim, who is critically injured, has been identified as Prakash Sethy of Rajnagar area in neighbouring Kendrapara district. The incident took place when Sethy was travelling on his motorcycle to his native from Chandikhole along with his friend. Bhubaneswar: Reserve Bank chief general manager Bijay Kumar Mishra has been appointed as new banking ombudsman for Odisha. Mishra has been working at the Reserve Bank of India since 1984.
