Bhubaneswar, March 15: The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), is going intercontinental from this year with the launch of a 3-Continent Master of Global Management (3C MGM) programme.
For this purpose, XIMB has entered into a partnership with two foreign B-schools – Antwerp Management School, Antwerp and Fordham Graduate School of Business, New York.
For the 12-month course slated to begin this September, the process of application has already started. Online registration closes on May 1.
Freshers as well as persons with work experience can apply for this programme that is based on “three basic values of personal development, global sensibility and social responsibility.”
Students will be admitted based on criteria such as a university degree, XAT/CAT/MAT/GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS scores, and a personal interview with one of the three deans of the programme.
The course is expected to cost around Euro 39,750 or Rs 30 lakh.
The first batch will have a total of 60 students with 20 candidates chosen from each of the three continents.
Starting with Antwerp, the students will spend four months at each location, which includes some of the leading financial centres.
Some of the key elements of this course syllabus include global strategy, integrated performance management, global finance, international marketing, innovation management, global HR management, international business law, and business perspectives in the European, Indian and American contexts.

P.T. Joseph, director of XIMB and one of the deans for this programme, said, “Through this new initiative, our institute wants to open its portals to global management education.
“Each school will give the students a unique view of its region for four months, integrating culture and local business models to inspire these young minds not only in their chosen career, but also as future leaders of change”.
