Bhubaneswar, July 1: A team of the National Tiger Conservation Authority arrived here today to offer their views on the fate of the big cat that has been confined in the Nandankanan zoo since June 23.

The team, made up of Ravikiran Govekar, Bilal Habib and Parag Nigam, will visit Nandankanan zoo and Satakosia Tiger reserve during their four-day visit.

A forest department official said the recommendations made by the team would be taken into account before deciding whether to keep the six-year-old male tiger captive or release it into the wild.
