Bhubaneswar, Nov. 29: Anna Hazare today expressed dissatisfaction over the behaviour of social activists and members of India Against Corruption who jostled with each other to have their photographs clicked with him on the dais at his public meeting here.
“Had I known that all of you were eager to only have your photos taken with me for cheap publicity, I would not have come here,” Hazare said.
After Hazare reached the meeting place, there was a rush among the people to stand beside him, creating panic that the dais might collapse any time. “There is a need for people who can relentlessly and selflessly work for the people without always trying to grab the limelight,” said Anna.
Anna also said: “Arvind Kejriwal rang me up two days ago. I told him that I would support his Aam Admi Party. Though Kejriwal and I have adopted separate roads, our goal is same: to weed out corruption. If I come to a conclusion that right candidates have been filed, I will personally campaign for them.”
