Bhubaneswar: Special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination to fill up vacant seats in engineering colleges was conducted on Sunday. Around 11,500 students appeared for it here.

Bhubaneswar: Villagers of Daruthenga on Sunday called off their agitation over dumping of garbage at the Bhuasuni dump yard following a meeting with police officers. The villagers have given a two-day deadline to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation to take a final decision on the issue.

Trial run

Bhubaneswar: A trial run on the much-delayed Khurda-Balangir railway project was conducted till Bolagarh after completion of the track, covering a distance of 13km, on Sunday, sources said.
