Lokayukta assent

Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday expressed his happiness over the Presidential assent accorded to the Odisha Lokayukta Bill. “This is a big step towards transparency,” he said.   

Bail granted

Cuttack: Orissa High Court on Thursday granted bail to Ranjan Kumar Das, an accused in the Artha Tatwa deposit scam. He is an associate of BJD MLA Pravat Tripathy, currently in jail.
