Jorhat, May 19: Pallabi Dangoria, daughter of senior Ulfa leader (Paresh Barua faction) Jibon Moran alias Purna Kanta Dangoria of Kakopathar in Tinsukia, was reported missing by her mother at Rajabheta police outpost in Dibrugarh district today.

In the complaint filed at the police outpost, it was written that Pallabi, a law student of Dibrugarh University, was dropped off by her mother at the hostel on May 14. The mother and daughter then went out to buy a few things from a shopping centre in front of the university gate. The mother then left by bus and asked the daughter to go back to the hostel. No one saw Pallabi return to the hostel.

The mother on finding her cellphone switched off thought that she must be busy with her studies as she had missed classes because of a prolonged illness and had gone home to rest for almost a month.
