Ranji trophy

Agartala, Nov. 1: Saurav Dasgupta will lead the 14-member Tripura Ranji Trophy team for the state’s forthcoming match against Services in Delhi from November 12.

Announcing the team, Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) secretary Samiran Chakraborty said that apart from Dasgupta and vice-captain Timir Chanda, several outstation players would bolster the team’s prospects.

The rest of the team includes Ritesh Jaiswal, Chetan Sachdeb, Subol Chowdhury, Abdul Sattar, Basudeb Datta, Rajiv Datta, Gourpada Banik, Dhananjay Singh, Sujit Roy, Jayanta Debnath, Anup Kumar Das and Sunil Shukla.

Chakraborty said former skipper Gourpada Banik along with Sujit Roy and Basudeb Datta had been recalled after a year’s gap.
