AIFF picks five for Goa camp

Imphal, Feb. 9: The All-India Football Federation selected five players to attend the India Under-16 Boys selection camp to be held at AIFF Training Centre, Goa from March 15-30. The players are M. Dhananjoy Singh, Ng. Sona Singh, Rabindra Meitei, O. Ajay Singh, Y. Denachandra Meitei. The AIFF also appointed Th. Kiranjit Singh as match official of the 34th National Championship for Coca Cola Mir Iqbal Hussian Trophy final round to be held at Margao, Goa. North East Games The North East Games 2012, scheduled to be held in Aizawl from February 12, have been rescheduled for March 20-23 instead of February 21-24. Dibrugarh judo: The Dibrugarh District Judo Association will organise a daylong promotional judo championship, marking the Nehru Yuvak Kendra’s sports day celebrations on February 12. There will be 20 weight group events. Guwahati challenge: River Rine Club will organise the 19th Guwahati Challenge Trophy cricket tournament at Judges Field here from February 14.
