Hailakandi, July 27: Silchar Sporting today defeated PHE RC by 4-1 goals in the super four stage of Ramanuj Gupta Memorial Football Super League of District Sports Association of Silchar at Satindra Mohan Dev stadium here.

Nigerian recruit Sunday Wagar Aiyuk made a hat-trick, scoring in the 20th, 42nd and 72nd minutes. Ringson Hmar scored the other goal in the 44th minute.

The lone goal of PHE was scored by Kenny Rongmei in the 34th minute. Yesterday, Tarapur AC defeated Arunachal SS by 4-0 goals.

Jodiliana scored the first goal in the 24th minute off a pass from Gaigam Rongmei. The second goal was scored by Lalmin Jwala in the 46th minute. Apolo Rongmei scored the third goal in the 72nd minute while Lalramliana scored the fourth in the 89th minute.
