Dhubri: The Dhubri district unit of the All Adivasi Students Association on Sunday warned the selection committee against selecting and appointing Anganwadi workers from outside tea garden areas. It also submitted a memorandum to Dhubri deputy commissioner Jatindra Lahakar apprising him about alleged illegal appointment of workers from outside tea garden areas at Office Line in Chapor tea garden in Dhubri district. It also urged the deputy commissioner to give priority to educated girls of the Adivasi community. Nagaon: A suspected Ulfa linkman, Diganta Bora, was apprehended by police from Murpholoni in Golaghat district on Sunday. Incriminating documents were recovered from him. Dhubri: Preparations are on to set up the 26 APBn camp at Chomrasali in Dhubri district. District administration officials inspected the area on Saturday to finalise the move.
