Dimapur, Sept. 30 : Chief minister T.R. Zeliang said Nagaland would become the main hub of connectivity between the Northeast and the South Asian countries as many major road projects are in the offing. Zeliang said this will boost trade and tourism and help the state flourish.

Zeliang, while speaking at the Lao-ong Mo celebration, the post-harvest festival of the Konyak at Mon yesterday, highlighted the major tourism and road projects that are being implemented.

The chief minister added that in the recently held summit on the Northeast's connectivity in Kohima, it was resolved that the Northeast ring road would be created where the Konyak land will play a major role since it borders Assam-Arunachal on one side and Myanmar on the other.
