Tezpur, Nov. 22: The fourth Eastern India Body-building Championship will be held at Hazarapar stadium in Tezpur on December 1 and 2. Participants will compete in six categories.

The competition will feature over 200 participants from various states and around 30 technical officials — including A. Boby Singh, former Mr World Manohar Aich and six-time Mr India Harakanta Borgohain — will attend the championship, said organising committee secretary Pankaj Kumar Bora.

Sonitpur deputy commissioner Tapan Chandra Sarma, also the president of the organising committee, said the administration would help to make the event, being held here for the first time, successful. The first Miss Assam, Rubina Begum, will attend the opening day as a guest poser.
