Kokrajhar, March 26: The nomination papers of Independent candidate Rani Bala Brahma from 30-Kokrajhar East Assembly seat were found invalid during scrutiny today. The nominations of the other six candidates, Pramila Rani Brahma (BPF), Kishore Basumatary (BPPF), Rajeswar Brahma (Congress), Biswajit Narzary (Trinamul) and Independents Rabiram Uzir and Subudra Narzary were found valid.

In 31-Sidli constituency, all seven nominations, in 28-Gossaigaon, all nine nominations and in 29-Kokrajhar West all six nominations were valid.
