Nagaon, June 7: Samson Singh Ingti Club, Diphu defeated White Angle Society 4-0 in a league match of the Greater Diphu Sports Association prizemoney football meet at Karbi Anglong District Sports Association playground at Diphu today.
Ingti Club midfielder Gautam Teron scored two goals in the 8th and 18th minute. Striker Dikha Timung scored the third goal in the 53rd minute while right forward Biwel Bey scored the fourth in the 58th minute. Everest Club me-et White Dove Society in the next league match on Sunday.
Karbi Anglong District Sports Association said matches scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday have been postponed in view of a 36-hour Karbi Anglong bandh from 5 am tomorrow.
