July 8: Gauhati Cine Club is going to screen Hirosimha Manamur and Khamosh Pani at the Lakshmiram Sadan here on July 9 and 10 respectively.

While Hirosimha Manamur is an anti-war movie, Khamosh Pani is based on actual events that took place during Partition.

Khamosh Pani has been directed by Pakistani director Sabiha Sumar.

Film buffs have been asked to attend the screening.
