Edvizo, an IIT Guwahati alumnus start-up, has decided to help students and parents get access to reliable information on coaching classes for JEE or NEET by staying at home without compromising on their health and opportunity in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

In Assam, the government on Sunday ordered shutting down of educational institutions, gymnasiums, swimming pools and cinema halls with immediate effect till March 29 in the wake of coronavirus.

The government has urged people to refrain from indulging in a gathering of a large number of people at any time.

With the board exams coming to an end in the next few days, now students will feel the need to join some coaching classes to prepare for competitive exams like JEE or NEET. Because of the current coronavirus outbreak, many parents and students want to avoid going outside to get information about various coaching classes.

It is becoming very difficult for them to get complete and accurate information about any coaching classes in today’s misleading branding and advertising era.

With this uncertainty on the horizon, Edvizo has decided to take it upon themselves to help students and parents stay at home without compromising on their health and opportunity.

Edvizo has recently expanded their operations to the Northeast, after operating in five cities — Kota, Hyderabad, Patna, New Delhi and Pune.

Ravi Nishant, founder and chief executive officer, Edvizo, said, “We need to ensure the safety of students and parents through all possible measures while also ensuring that they do not miss the opportunity to enrol in the best coaching due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.”

Around 20,000 students had taken admissions through their website last year.

Edvizo’s website is providing students with all the necessary and verified information on coaching classes, including teachers’ details, their qualifications, old students’ reviews, previous years’ results and facilities available.

The information helps the students to get admission in any coaching classes available on the website.

If needed, students can also fix an appointment for a free counselling session by Edvizo’s experts who will visit the students’ homes.
