Rebel held
Kokrajhar, Jan. 9: An NDFB (S) rebel, identified as Dhananjay Boro, 31, was arrested from Runikhata near the India-Bhutan border in Assam's Chirang district today. An 9mm pistol and four live bullets were seized from him.

Imphal: Manipur women annexed the title of the 15th National Amateur Rugby (men & women) Football Tournament held at Belampalli in Telangana. Manipur beat Haryana by 15-0 goals in the final on Sunday while in men's event, Manipur bagged the silver going down to Chattisgarh 7-15.
Two arrested
Dhubri: Fazar Ali, 40, and Mazibar Rahman,19, of Dhubri district were arrested while sailing in a boat with 13 cattlehead on Monday.
