Kokrajhar, July 4: The match between the Jothai Sports Club and Avalanche Sports Club in the Super-division league match of Kokrajhar District Sports Association inter-club soccer league being played at KDSA ground in Kokrajhar today ended in a 1-1 draw.

The first half’s play ended without any goals. In the second half of the match, Kwrwmdao Basumatary of Jothai scored the first goal in the 60th minute. Five minutes later, Everest striker Basu Chetry managed to hit the net and equalised the goal.

Chess camp: The All Assam Chess Players Association will organise a free three-day chess coaching camp on the Indian Oil Corporation campus in Guwahati from July 7 to July 10 for players from selection camps held at Duliajan, Tinsukia, Guwahati, Karimganj, Lakhimpur, Dibrugarh, Jorhat and Mangaldoi in May.

The organisers will select players for advanced coaching by an international master.
