The sheer, filmi sari may have gotten an update while we weren’t looking. Tara Sutaria just stunned in an exquisite red georgette sari by ethnic wear label Premya by Manishii. The scarlet number had some gorgeous lace detailing on its pallu and Tara paired it with a custom backless embellished blouse and a pair of gold-toned chandbalis by Karan Johar’s jewellery line Tyaani Fine Jewellery.
Premya’s line-up features a host of timeless red ensembles in georgette and tulle, featuring breathy floral work, diamonte patterns and bead detailing. Since statement red hues are trending, you can go for a tone-on-tone look like Tara. Pair a smooth red, semi-sheer sari with a gorgeous lace bustier or a floral blouse and add in some minimal bling.
